Bryn Pharma is a privately held pharmaceutical company founded by patients who are personally affected by anaphylaxis. In addition to improving epinephrine delivery systems, Bryn is committed to improving access to emergency medical treatment for all patients at risk.
Patient activation will be critical to the success of our first commercial asset, UTULY. The Senior Director, Patient Marketing will lead the development and execution of our overall Direct to Patient strategy and therefore, play an important role in the transition of Bryn Pharma from a development-stage to a commercial-stage organization.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), this position will be primarily responsible for all patient engagement initiatives. This individual will be responsible for generating patient insights and developing patient specific messaging, campaigns, and tactical execution plans. They will drive the tactical execution of all patient directed initiatives inclusive of print, digital, social media, etc.
They will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with Patient Advocacy groups, and identify ways to incorporate Patient Advocacy into our overall patient strategy. They will work closely with another Marketing professional dedicated to Healthcare Provider and Market Access customers as well as other cross functional team members.

For this role you will need
- 15+ years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology industry with primary role experience in Marketing
- Patient/Consumer Marketing experience is required
- Product launch experience in a Marketing role is required
- Omnichannel Marketing experience is required
- Significant agency management experience required, inclusive of AOR RFP execution experience
- Prior experience as an operational budget holder with extensive vendor management experience
- Public Relations plan management experience is preferred
- Experience working with Patient Advocacy groups preferred
- Prior experience in Allergy/Immunology preferred
- Solid understanding of the commercial, regulatory, and legal environment in the pharmaceutical industry and demonstrated integrity and ethics on work-related compliance considerations is required.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, ability to scenario plan, craft strategic options, prioritize and creative problem solve beyond the scope of traditional industry frameworks and practices is required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with a range of stakeholders
Prior experience working in a small specialty pharma business is preferred but NOT required.
